With the marketing blurb out of the way, here are some more thoughts regarding the game.
As I’ve written above, Boundless is currently done. It has been more than two years in the making, and it includes so much content. It is based on the Boundless core rules, which have been available for more than a year now!
I’ve been playtesting this game for a very long time, and I’ve had so much fun designing it and playing it. I’m thrilled and excited to share it with you all ^^.
A little more detail about how this works: the game is finished, and you can play it today. I’ve worked closely with BackerKit to offer a new way to reserve a digital copy of the game with a big discount. The reservation also counts toward the total funding goal of the campaign, which is pretty cool.
I’m the first person at BackerKit to use the reservation funnel to give you the full thing in advance, instead of saying, “Give me five dollars now, and I’ll give you a pin for free when the game launches.” which I think is pretty boring and not something I’m interested in.
The game is finished, and I want you to play it today. You can buy it, reserve your copy, and play it now for $10. This gives you a discount compared to buying the game when it launches next year.
When the campaign ends, that $10 also provides a key you can add on itch.io, DriveThruRPG, or another platform. I still need to decide where I’ll distribute the game, but you will receive a key 😁
Content includes:
158 pages of beautifully laid out content.
4,000 rolling-table entries
Six classes and 12 beasts for the bestiary
A great adventure by Ryan Lucas
A soundtrack by Of Sleeping Bears
A so much more
If you reserve your copy today, you’ll also get a discount when the game launches on BackerKit in February if you later decide to upgrade to a print copy.
Watch the video above as I go through the entire book, and stay tuned and subscribe to the newsletter. I’ll release workshop behind-the-scenes videos covering the setting and the mechanics later!
Congrats! Cant wait to play it on the table!
So excited for this game. Definitely going to play it soon.
